1. General Provisions & Legal Compliance

  • This document is an electronic record generated under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, and complies with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
  • These Terms constitute a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 between RareTails and you (“User” or “Buyer”).
  • You confirm that you are at least 18 years old or accessing the website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Product Information and Sizing Disclaimer

  • Product Descriptions: We make every effort to display the colours, features, and details of our products (including the CalmWrap vest and pet clothing) as accurately as possible. However, actual colours may vary slightly depending on screen resolution and settings.
  • Pet Sizing: Sizing guides provided on our website are indicative. It is the customer's responsibility to measure their pet accurately before placing an order.
  • Wellness & Comfort Products: Products designed for pet anxiety or body comfort (e.g., CalmWrap) are intended as supportive wellness tools and do not substitute for professional veterinary advice or behavioural treatment.

3. Orders, Pricing, and Payments

  • Acceptance of Orders: All orders placed on our website are subject to availability and confirmation of order price. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion.
  • Pricing: All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless specified otherwise. We reserve the right to revise prices without prior notice.
  • Payments: Payments are processed securely via RBI-regulated payment gateways. We accept credit/debit cards, Net Banking, UPI, and approved wallets. RareTails does not store bank or card credentials.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Coverage: We deliver across supported postal pin codes in India.
  • Timelines: Estimated delivery timelines are provided during checkout. While we strive to ship promptly, RareTails is not responsible for delays caused by third-party courier services, weather disruptions, or force majeure events.
  • Address Accuracy: Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping details. The customer will bear additional shipping charges incurred due to incorrect address information.

5. Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds

  • Cancellations: You may request order cancellation before dispatch through your account dashboard or by contacting customer support. Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled.
  • Returns & Exchanges: Due to hygiene standards for pet clothing, products are eligible for return or size exchange within 7 days of delivery, provided they are unused, unwashed, free of pet hair, and in original condition with tags intact.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Customised items or damaged items due to pet chewing/mishandling are non-returnable.
  • Refund Process: Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment source within 5–7 business days following item inspection.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

  • All content on this website—including the RareTails brand name, logos, design assets, product patterns, images, text, and graphics—is the exclusive intellectual property of RareTails.
  • Unauthorised copying, reproduction, redistribution, or commercial exploitation of any site content without prior written permission is strictly prohibited under Indian copyright and trademark laws.

7. User Code of Conduct

When using our website, you agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malicious code, or spam.
  • Impersonate any person or provide false contact information.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:

  • RareTails shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from product use or site access.
  • Our maximum cumulative liability for any claim arising out of a product purchase shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that specific order.

9. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

  • Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
  • Jurisdiction: Any legal action, dispute, or proceeding arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
